I have been all over Calgary trying different sushi restaurants, and to date this is still my favorite. The sushi/sashimi is the freshest.

If I have a fancy date night, I choose zipang! I also love grabbing a lunch anytime I get a chance!

I also enjoy their great customer service. Nobody is rude and even the chef's say goodbye when you are leaving! It always put a smile on my face:)

Okay for anyone who has been to Japan and lived there for a while you know that you can't get all the different fish here that you can there. One of the rare ones even in Japan is Sanma, a pacific saury, which is only in season in the fall. Sure you can get them frozen at the asian supermarkets, but you'll never find sashimi quality! Zipang had Sanma fresh as can be and it was as good as what I had at the best places in Japan. This place is the real deal!
